FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
First time, What class do I start with?
Always start with an Intro class of any apparatus and go to the class for as long as needed to allow your body and mind to connect to what is being taught. Make sure to check Class Descriptions for levels or prerequisites.
First time, How do I sign up?

What do I wear?:
POLE FITNESS: It is best for tank tops and shorter shorts to allow skin to grip to the poles through friction. We require appropriate work out attire. Underwear & Nudity is NOT permitted. DO NOT WEAR LOTION within 24 hours as it prevents sticking to the apparatus.
AERIAL FITNESS: It is best for full coverage hardy sports wear covering legs, waist, & armpits to help prevent skin burns.

Wear what makes you feel most comfortable within the realm of the apparatus you are working with.

Do I need to be strong and flexible to start?:
NO, however we recommend talking with primary care and specialized physicians when starting any new workout routine as every person is different and has different capabilities. You do need to be of sound Mind and Body to start because this is a gym with specialized sports through Pole & Aerial.
You do not already have to be these things to use these things safely and take them where you want to. We guide you through movements and can give you things to work on to help you gain the strength & flexibility needed at your pace.

Is there an age minimum or maximum?:
CURRENTLY - Minimum age requirement is 14 years old for our Regularly scheduled classes (Unless specifically stated).
Our Youth Program is 8 - 13 Yrs. old. Coming April of 2025.
Youth 8 - 17 Years old must have Parent(s)/Guardian create SEPARATE accounts for themselves and their Youth. You can manage relationships on your own account.
Youth 8 - 13 Years old are not allowed to train/practice alone in Open Gym time without Parent/Guardian Present.
Youth not in class are never to be left unattended in the Haus as we do not offer supervision services.
MAXIMUM AGE?
We say no and have experience in the community worldwide that there isn't a limit based on age alone. There are those of wide ranging ages doing these activities on a regular basis.
As with anything fitness related there are always inherit risks and every body is so different that it is a personal experience for you so we strongly recommend you refer to your primary care physician and medical professionals to guide you through any new fitness routine.

Can I bring alcohol or drugs or be under the influence?
Alcohol or Drug use is not permitted prior to any physical activities at the studio. If you are intoxicated or under the influence when arriving at our studio, you will not be allowed to participate, and will not be refunded your money.
LATE POLICY, CANCELLATION, AND FEES
You must sign up online to ensure spot.
DO NOT BE LATE. On time is late.
You should be dressed and ready to start your session at the scheduled time. We suggest that you arrive at least 5 to 10 minutes before your class to avoid being late. This is a safety issue, and we ask that you respect both instructors and other students by showing up on time as tardiness is disruptive to the classroom experience we all aim to provide.
No shows will deduct class credit when applicable and charge a $10 fee.
If you do arrive more than 10 minutes late you WILL be denied participation for safety reasons and will be counted as a no show. This will be at instructor's discretion.
A no show is considered to be any reservation by the client that the client cancels within 3 hours of start time of class and/or does not attend/show up to.
You understand that if you choose not to sign up for class that you risk the chance that it becomes full or canceled.
Instructors can cancel any class with zero students signed up at any time but we do try to maintain 3 hours prior to start time.
LEVELS & PREREQUISITES
You must have the prerequisites listed in class descriptions for safety and flow of class. If at any time the instructor deems you unsafe or out of your "level" you can be denied participation at any time. You will be directed to appropriate level. Keep to the curriculum.
