By participating, interacting, and doing business with Meraki Haus, you agree to, and shall be bound by, agree, & understand the following terms and conditions:

 

INSTRUCTORS

All Instructors are trained and/or certified employees who use the facility for related pole, aerial, dance, and fitness purposes.

 

BEHAVIOR IN THE HAUS

Please respect your instructors and fellow students and leave your phone conversations outside the studio while in class. This applies to text messaging and emailing as well.

No street shoes permitted in the studio. 

Some students prefer to not be in the background of photos and videos posted to social media sites. Please ask permission first if you will be taking a picture or video so others have the option to step aside for a moment.

Meraki Haus is committed to creating a safe, inclusive space regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, social class, gender, sexual orientation, gender identification, ability, or age. We will not tolerate harassment of any kind in our studio or online spaces. We do not tolerate bullying or disrespecting of other students and their personal space. Such behavior will result in you being removed from Meraki Haus, and you will no longer be able to take classes at Meraki Haus.

We are all human beings who need to learn to get along with all kinds of people. Sometimes that includes respectable confrontation amongst our peers to get along in the same space.

Being under the influence of Drugs or Alcohol is not permitted.

MEDICAL CONCERNS:

 We strongly recommend you refer to your primary care physician and medical professionals to guide you through any new fitness routine. You are responsible to ensure your physical well being between you and your healthcare professionals. Any suggestions or recommendations from our staff is strictly opinion beyond the scope of pole, aerial, dance & fitness, and you should always check with any correct professionals for needs, wants, and concerns.

 

LATE POLICY AND FEES

You must sign up online to ensure spot.

DO NOT BE LATE. On time is late.

You should be dressed and ready to start your session at the scheduled time. We suggest that you arrive at least 5 to 10 minutes before your class to avoid being late. This is a safety issue, and we ask that you respect both instructors and other students by showing up on time as tardiness is disruptive to the classroom experience we all aim to provide.

No shows will deduct class credit when applicable and charge a $10 fee.

If you do arrive more than 10 minutes late you can be denied participation for safety reasons and will be counted as a no show. This will be at instructor's discretion.

A no show is considered to be any reservation by the client that the client cancels within 3 hours of start time of class and/or does not attend/show up to. I understand that if I choose not to sign up for class that I risk the chance that it is full or canceled. Instructors can cancel any class with zero students signed up, up to 3 hours prior to class start time.

 

CHILDREN AND MINORS

CURRENTLY - Minimum age requirement is 14 years old.

Students under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a parental or guardian release form and have an attached online account prior to taking classes at Meraki Haus.

Minors 17 and younger are not allowed to train/practice alone without Parent/Guardian Present.

Children under the age of 14 are not permitted to take class and they are never to be left unattended in the Haus as we do not offer supervision services.

 

PRIVATE PARTIES

Private Parties that are cancelled at least 7 days in advance may be rescheduled up to 30 days from the original date of the party. Failure to cancel your party 7 days in advance will forfeit your opportunity to make up your party.

HAUS SCHEDULE CHANGE POLICY

Schedule may change at any time and is at the sole discretion of Meraki Haus.

LOST AND FOUND:

Meraki Haus will take no responsibility for personal effects and possessions left on premises during or after any use of facility. We do, however, maintain a lost and found and will hold recovered items up to 30 days.

 

PROPER ATTIRE

Please wear proper attire when visiting Meraki Haus.

No nudity is allowed in the studio. Proper attire must be worn at all times.

Underwear is not allowed as workout attire. Active wear is encouraged.

Please avoid wearing any lotions, oils, and absolutely NO jewelry in class.

 

ALCOHOL & DRUGS

Alcohol or Drug use is not permitted prior to any physical activities at the studio. If you are intoxicated or under the influence when arriving at our studio, you will not be allowed to participate, and will not be refunded your money.

 

REFUND POLICY

All sales are final and there are no refunds or transfers.
